Based out of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, Positronics Enterprises Limited has been servicing the two way mobile radio market since 1984. We are a Canadian leader in the development, deployment, and maintenance of Integrated Communication Systems. With our team of radio technicians, engineers, and software developers, we build easy to use communication systems which offer our users reliable and effective real-time communication in accordance with their specific operational needs. With decades of experience in electronic and computer systems design, we are able to integrate our customers’ existing radio, phone, and other real-time communications, into a single IP network. Further, our line of products and services transparently integrate into existing systems, allowing those systems to grow or change with minimum disruption.

About Our Services
Systems Design and Development

Our key business is the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom integrated communication systems for customers who require mission critical communication. We have built systems that span the nation, and ones that cover almost any imaginable terrain. If need be (due to either budget or accessibility) our systems can and will utilize existing radio infrastructure, regardless of vendor and technology mix, allowing for extraordinary levels of interoperability. This ability enables us to maximize existing infrastructure investments, reduce the upfront cost drastically, and gives us the ability to run systems concurrently. All of our systems are built with reliability, performance, effectiveness, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of use from the design stage. Both limited and full-service maintenance contracts are available on all our systems - as are 24-hour phone and online support services.

Our Carbon Footprint

Positronics recognizes its part in our shared responsibility towards the environment, and is committed to continually reducing the carbon footprint of both the activities we engage in and in the products we sell. Environmental considerations are an integral part of our business practices. We continually aim to keep our activities environmentally sustainable.

Products and Suppliers

To us, our final sellable product should be an example of positive choices and practices that went into making it. We pride ourselves in the quality, stability, and longevity of our products – which, even in retirement, are often found a constructive use, or are disposed of in the most conscious methods available to us. We have chosen to deal with suppliers that employ sensible environmental practices and adhere to all local, provincial, federal, or state laws in this regard. Additionally, we ask that they use recyclable, recycled, or reused packaging and shipping material (avoiding the use of Styrofoam and plastic whenever possible) when shipping or receiving goods.

Recycling

At Positronics we look at things, not only for what they are but what they can be. A central component in this cycle is first to reduce our use of un-necessary goods. Our office administration prefers to deal with all of our customers electronically for invoicing, purchasing and payments. We encourage all of our customers to support us in this effort. We accept our customers obsolete radio equipment to ensure proper recycling. As for our manufacturing and service practices, old radios are great testing grounds for young learners!
